Hangar72 Shipping & Damage Claim Policy

At Hangar72, every model is carefully inspected, securely packed, and dispatched with utmost care. However, due to the delicate and collectible nature of scale models, transit-related damage may occasionally occur despite our best efforts. All fulfilled orders will be shipped in 3 - 5 working days.

To ensure a smooth resolution process in the rare event of damage, customers are required to follow the guidelines below.


Damage Claim Policy

1. Parcel Opening Instructions

  • Place the parcel on a stable surface such as a table or desk before opening.

  • Do not open the package while holding it in your hands.

  • Use a scissors, utility knife, or box cutter carefully to cut the sealing tape.

  • Do not tear the packaging tape by hand or forcefully pull apart the box, as this may result in accidental damage to the contents.


2. Mandatory Unboxing Video

A complete unboxing video is mandatory for any damage, missing item, or replacement claim.

The video must:

  • Begin before the parcel is opened.

  • Clearly show the package in the exact condition in which it was delivered.

  • Capture all sides of the parcel, including the shipping label and seals.

  • Continue without interruption until the product is fully removed from the packaging and inspected.

  • Clearly show any damaged area, missing part, or defect discovered during unboxing.

  • Be recorded in good lighting and sufficient clarity.

  • Keep both the parcel and product visible throughout the recording.

  • Be recorded from close range so that the product and packaging details are clearly visible.


3. Claim Submission Timeline

  • Any damage or missing item claim must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • The complete unboxing video must be provided along with the claim request.

  • Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for review.


4. Claims Without Proper Video Evidence

Unfortunately, we cannot process damage, replacement, or refund requests without a valid unboxing video, regardless of the circumstances.

Examples of reasons that cannot be accepted include, but are not limited to:

  • "I was in a hurry and forgot to record."

  • "I was alone and had no one to hold the camera."

  • "I have ordered before and never had any issues."

  • "I trusted that the item would arrive safely."

  • "The recording was interrupted."

  • Any other reason for not providing the required unboxing video.

Without proper video evidence, Hangar72 will be unable to verify the condition of the parcel upon arrival and therefore cannot approve the claim.


5. Transit Damage Disclaimer

Scale models are fragile collectible items. While Hangar72 takes every precaution to ensure safe packaging and shipment, transit damage may occasionally occur due to handling during transportation.

Customers are therefore strongly advised to strictly follow this Damage Claim Policy to ensure prompt support and resolution should any issue arise.
